Our client’s love for everything Italian translated into the design of this three-story townhome in Vaughan.

Pulling the colours from a series of prints featuring areas in and around Venice and Treviso stemmed as the inspiration for the colour pallet in this contemporary townhouse.

We created a venetian plaster fireplace feature wall to bring in warmth and texture to this family room with a large bookshelf to create the perfect focal point when walking up the staircase to the main floor.

The large dark kitchen feels more dramatic with a pop of turquoise from the 3 stools next to a waterfall island and a collection of interesting decor pieces.

A sculptural bookcase was chosen to act as a divider between the open concept spaces on the main floor. It is the first thing you see when you arrive at the landing and acts as a buffer between the family room and kitchen while still keeping an airy layout. The adjacent powder room is dramatic with dark grey shimmering plaster walls.

Colours from the landscapes and towns of Venice and Treviso are pulled in the rug and adjacent decor in the primary bedroom to create a relaxing space to unwind.
